Stay in a forest hut
Sweden's most primitive hotel.
We have 12 forest huts, each has two hard beds with cosy sheep skin rugs. You may also ask for an extra berth for a child. All huts have a wood heater.
Prices
Lodging in forest hut Sundays-Fridays: SEK 350 per person, kids 175.
Breakfast: SEK 65 per person, kids SEK 45.
Membersship cardholders of Hosteling International or STF gets a discount of SEK 50 for adults and SEK 25 for children per night. This optional membership can be purchased at arrival.
Season individual guests: June 11 - August 15, 2010
Season groups: April 30 - October 3 (minimum 8 persons)

- Guided walk in Kolarbyn
- Isolation mat
- Sheep skin rugs
- Candles and matches
- Firewood for self-cutting
- Fresh water to be fetched from the spring
- Access to fire places
- Primitive kitchen facilities and equipment
- Dish place with running water in the creek
- Waste separation bins for recycling
- Access to big hut with tables and 45 seats (if not occupied)

We recommend you to bring weather resistant clothing and footwear for hiking, warm clothing for cold nights, camera, binoculars, torch, sleeping bag, pillow, bathing suit, towel, water bottle, snacks.
