Who´s afraid of the big bad wolf?
In the forests of Sweden that cover two thirds of the country live a large number of wild animal species. Kolarbyn and the Bergslagen region inhabit many of the most spectacular species. Moose and roe deer are plenty, but also Lynx, Brown Bear, Beaver and Wolf which were previously rare or actually endangered, have recovered in recent years, usually as a result of long-term efforts to protect them and improve their environment and living conditions. Wild animals are very shy and keep away from the forest huts in Kolarbyn.
