Accommodation in a Charcoal Hut (April to November)
Welcome to Kolarbyn! Here, you stay close to nature in simple yet cozy charcoal huts and can truly experience the tranquility of the forest.
All prices is ordinary prices, if you choose an adventure with lots included, it´s often some discount.

Food
Feel free to bring your own food and use the kitchen equipment in our guest kitchen. We also offer groceries from our forest pantry, as well as a luxurious dinner basket that can be ready in your hut upon check-in.

Breakfast is always included from April to November or during special winter events (you will see what is included in your booking when you book).
Add-ons
Your stay includes two hours of access to our shared sauna together with other guests, where you heat and clean it yourself. If you want a private sauna experience, you can book our private sauna for two hours, and you also handle heating and cleaning.
Price for the private sauna: 200–400 SEK
Feel free to indulge in our wood-fired hot tub by Lake Skärsjön. You chop and tend the fire yourself (taking about two hours), while we fill the tub and start the fire for you. The Forest Bath is perfect for two adults and costs 1000-1250 SEK for the entire evening.
You can also rent our canoes (Canadian canoes) for noon (10:00–15.00) or afternoon (15:00–21:00). One canoe holds two adults and 1–2 small children.
Price per canoe: 300 SEK (paddles and life jackets included; we have life jackets for over 40 kg and can provide rescue vests from 3 years old if you mention it in your booking).
Rent our rowboat for a whole day for 350 SEK (oars and life jackets included; same life jacket conditions apply).
As a guest at Kolarbyn, you can purchase a fishing permit for Lake Skärsjön through us. A family permit, valid for up to two adults and three children, costs 200 SEK.
